Oxnard, CA – GCTD is providing an update on the status of negotiations with TEAMSTERS 186 currently underway for a new contract. The parties met again today for a full day of negotiations. The day was very productive with exchanges of proposals. To date, the parties have reached tentative agreements on Health Benefits, Holidays, Tools and other Reimbursements. We continue to have talks scheduled for tomorrow, 7/7/23 – and believe that we have offered a fair proposal (linked below) that achieves mutual wins for all. We are eager to reach a deal and will continue talks with Teamsters tomorrow.
