The Bus & Child Safety
- Don’t allow your children to play near or inside the bus; pushing and shoving can cause accidents.
- Hold onto your child when a train or bus approaches.
- Never let your children run after or next to a moving bus or train.
- Passengers must keep all parts of their body inside the bus.
- Hold onto your children upon boarding and exiting trains and buses.
Strollers
Strollers are welcome on the bus but must be folded and stowed away from the aisle. Note that there may not always be room on board to accommodate a stroller.
Fares & Youth IDs
Children under 45” tall can travel for free with a fare-paying adult on the bus.
Children over 45” but under the age of 18 ride free under Ventura County's Youth Ride Free program. High school aged youth should be prepared to show ID to prove eligibility. If you do not have one, you can request a youth ID for free at our Customer Service Center.
