Effective April 19, 2022, the federal mask mandate will no longer be enforced by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
Gold Coast Transit District (GCTD) announced Tuesday, April 19th, it will no longer require masks be worn on board buses or at its facilities in accordance with this new development.
The CDC and local public health guidelines continue to recommend that masks be worn in indoor public transportation settings.
GCTD's Customer Service Center continues to provide free reusable masks upon request.
